Jack Cohen introduced me to Terry in 1990 at Novacon, the Birmingham Science Fiction Group's annual convention, and it changed my life. Terry generously allowed us to play in his universe, and together we wrote the four Science of Discworld books. When Warwick University awarded Terry an honorary degree, he made us honorary wizards of Unseen University.
